How to Improve the Drawing Skills of ChildrenOne of the prizes I offer my students is that I will draw them anything they want when they win our Spin-to-Win raffle. The main reason that I offer this as a prize is that I want some extra practice drawing random things that I might not have thought of on my own. Today the 5th grade boys asked for bunnies. So often, I hear children say, "I can't draw. I'm not an artist." I tell them, "The only people who are not artists are the people who stop making art." Give your children random art assignments and try to come up with some real purpose for each one. This is one way to keep the artist alive in your child or students. |
